Featured on The Brooklyn Ink blog!

Neat-o! A short video/slideshow of me talking about my handmade biz recently appeared on The Brooklyn Ink blog! My hair's a mess but I'm otherwise tickled about the whole thing. Check it out here.

Thanks!

It was a beautiful weekend here in Gotham, with bright sunny days and cool, clear nights. The nights were especially spectacular. Walking my dogs along breezy West End Avenue under a canopy of stars and surrounded by stately buildings' light-filled windows inspired today's post, a collection of items by members of The NewNew featuring geometric structures and/or light. Enjoy!

Late summer harvest-inspired NewNew

A trip to my local farmers market this morning made evident the fact of summer’s nearing end. Tomatoes, corn, plums, peaches, eggplant, grapes, peaches and plums---the flavors and colors of the harvest inspired the following selection of items by members of the NewNew, pictured with their respective harvest inspirations.

White Dress with Large Collar
betterthanjam, $130

Enjoy the rest of the summer, and don't forget to support your local growers, artists and artisans!

Until next time --
